In New York, Italian ceramics starred in the first edition of the important conference dedicated to architecture, “Creating the 21st Century Facade: How Architects and Fabricators are Advancing Curtain Wall Design in the Digital Age” held in New York on 16 February 2012.

 

Eleven Italian companies took part in the event, displaying materials and their own creations.
Ceramiche Coem proposed Travertino Romano, a material suited for this purpose. It also presented the work of architect Salvo Schiavo in Palermo, with a ventilated wall made in Pietra Splendente.
