In this farmhouse in Tuscany, the renovation included the part once occupied by the owner’s stables, the original flooring of which, in large travertine slabs, was recycled to create the large fireplace and to highlight the differences in level in the larger apartment, where it was used along with porcelain stoneware floor tiles from the BRICKLANE collection, which thanks to the variety of dusty shades are reminiscent of brick and also combine well with the stone, limestone-plastered walls.
The overall effect created by these elements gives the building a particularly attractive blend of the traditional and the contemporary. This atmosphere is also in evidence in the kitchen, featuring Cementine tiles with geometric, decorative patterns framing a surface in cocciopesto.
The infinity pool in the large olive grove is covered with stoneware tiles from the TRAVERTINO ROMANO SCANALATO collection in the colour Silver, and the solarium with outdoor tiles from the HABITA collection in the colour Rovere, which blend in smoothly with the surroundings.
