The general aim of the client “L – founders of loyalty” was to create “the most pleasant office in the Netherlands”, a place able to inspire innovation and collaboration. Thanks to the work of Voss Architecture, the renovation project transformed the original building – the old telephone exchange in the centre of Den Bosch – with contemporary solutions in terms of energy efficiency and comfort.
Each of the eight floors is on a particular theme, celebrating different cultures and global styles. The themes explored include Latino energy, the elegance of the Californian vineyards, the relaxed atmosphere of Japan and the minimalist style of Dutch design.
Two of Coem’s stone-effect porcelain stoneware collections were chosen for this project, perfect for enhancing the natural, contemporary character of the architecture. The MADRE NATURA collection, in the colour Chiaro and size 90×90, was used for the Asian Fields floor, while the BRIT STONE collection, in the colour Sand and the 60×120 size, with Unpolished and Outdoor finishes, was selected for tiling the entire external entrance area (stairs, terrace, columns and ceiling).
