PRIVATE RESIDENCE – THE NETHERLANDS

This elegant project entitled “De heer van Oss” (The Van Oss) has been created by Sies Home Interior Design, of the Dutch interior designer Simone Van Os. The apartment features an impressive array of contemporary designer pieces, as well as paintings from various periods and antiques. The project has succeeded in striking a balance that shows all these elements off to best advantage. The appealing, light veining effect of the Reverso Beige pale-coloured stone-effect porcelain stoneware, in the 60x120cm size, covers the entire floor area, while the walls in the master bathroom are tiled from floor to ceiling using black Port Laurent marble-effect Wide Gres, in the 120x120cm size.
Light and colour have clearly been used to create an inviting atmosphere. As Simone Van Os says: “What I love is how diverse my clients are, and I enjoy putting their ideas into practice with the Sies Home touch. Coming up with a lighting plan, designing bathrooms and kitchens, selecting the right furnishings and fittings, or the perfect interior design style: this is where my strength lies. And there’s nothing more rewarding than surprising a client with simple solutions that yield superb results”.
